Music review of "Wrecking Ball" - Miley Cyrus by Sensible Bear

She decided to run with her success from the Video Music Awards and... what's a nice word for slutty? The song was... boring. At least there was a wrecking ball in the song because that makes the one in the video relevant. On the other hand, it is a pity there is a wrecking ball in the song because that means that she has written a song about a wrecking ball.

Sensible Bear shares his cuddly wisdom ever-so occasionally for all our benefit.

Rules of Love

1 I do not believe that true love exists.

2 I grant that I may be completely wrong.

3 If it does exist, it will be rare.

4 If I fall into 'true love', I must allow myself to pursue it.

5 If anybody I know falls into 'true love', I must allow them to pursue it.

6 Even when in 'true love,' mistakes can still be made and problems can still occur.

7 Even if one must hurt another, there are less bad ways of doing it and every effort shall be made to enact these.

Controlling your world

All I know is that when I close my eyes for the slightest moment their voices drop and there is no sound in the world, and I know if I open my eyes I see that there is no world at all.

How nice it is to be so powerful, to will away entire universes with a blink and whisk everyone back to you with a flutter of eyelashes.

Where is tomorrow?
Can I find it in the sky above and taste it's secrets in drops of rain?
Or is it in the ground beneath me, stolid and unnoticed.

Perhaps it is in the very air I breath,
and with each inhalation the very first grandfather clock roars -
waves rolling in and retreating.

Morning Haikus

I think haikus must have been created for poets of the morning, when words come out stilted, intermingled with unconsciousness as we wake. How disappointed I was to learn that haikus do not follow a five, seven, five syllable structure! Instead they count on, or counting phonetic sounds in Japanese. Oh well. I shall work with what I know.

Just breathe in and lie
Under a grand useless tree
In a grand meadow.

Ugh phlegm in my mouth.
Regurgitated inside
Body Pollution.
